[Well lookie here, it's Crow. If he's noticed that his guide is on, he doesn't show it. He's too busy being a good worker this time as it seems he actually has shown up for his job this month as a Library Storyteller, reading to the kids. Such a nice guy...]
So Peter Pan and his friends were able to beat Captain Hook and his band of pirates--which is really stupid because the pirates should of won. Then again the pirates in this book were kinda morons too... [Judging from the look on the kid's faces, it sounds like Crow has been having running commentary like this throughout the reading of the book. One of the kids timidly raises a hand, to which Crow gives a slight glare at being interrupted.] What?
"Um...can we hear a different story now that doesn't have pirates?"
Why? Got a problem with pirates?
"W-well no, but all of the books you've read so far today are just about pirates..."
That's because pirates are the best. Better than that story about "talking animals" or whatever it was one of you suggested before. And besides, one of the characters in that book dies anyway, so I just saved you from having to get all choked up about it...or was that a different book? Well whatever, any other questions?
[The kids quickly shake their heads.]
Good...so yeah, everybody gets home safely and I guess it's a happy ending... [He closes the book, making to set it aside with a pile of other books--most of, if not nearly all of which are "pirate" related in some way. Except the book ends up hitting the guide, soon cutting off the feed right after his next words] That's that, so I'm grabbing a different book instead...
