In any case, weddings can be downright frightening when you think about it.

It depends. Sometimes having a nice simple ceremony is all you need to tie the knot, but others love throwing elaborate weddings. It gets stressful when you think about all the tiny details like what dress you'll wear, whether your bridesmaids dresses will match, what food you'll serve to your guests, what guests you're going to invite, where the wedding will take place...

... I could go on, but basically if you want a nice wedding there's a lot of planning involved and it gets stressful.
