[When the feed turns on, an exasperated voice is speaking.]
--admit that it would be easier to see to your needs if we did such a thing, but it is hardly proper.
I don’t care! [A much younger and grumpier voice responds.] It is bothersome summoning you from so far away each time I need something. [Or, rather, when he wants something.] If you stayed in my room, we could accomplish much more.
[A sigh.]
And what would this much more be, Young Master? In the past month we have hardly accomplished anything at all. What exactly is your plan now that we are here? [His voice takes on a softer, dangerous edge.] We cannot do what we should be doing. And where does that put us?
[The sound of a chair creaking.] In a new world with new possibilities. [Though Sebastian’s tone probably puts him ill at ease, Ciel won’t back down.] We can start a business once we acquire enough money. Then... [He pauses.] Without Her Majesty to guide me, I will have to make my own decisions.
[There is another pause, and then a rustle of clothing as Sebastian approaches the communicator.]
If that is what you think, then so be it. Now that I have finished the compilation of records you asked of me, I am ready to start working for your benefit. [He chuckles quietly.] Back to menial labor, I suppose. How dreary in comparison to serving you.
[And then the communicator turns off.]
