Heroes? -- N-Nah. We were just doing our jobs as Shibusen students. It's not a big deal.

But you're protecting people, are you not? That is a big deal.

You're right, protecting the innocent is a huge deal. But it's not uncommon either!

Finding the courage to protect those who are unable to protect themselves is a remarkable accomplishment. If it were so common, there would not be very many people who wanted to hurt those innocent people to begin with.

Whether or not it is your duty, I think you would perform it regardless. That alone is remarkable.

Mm, that's true. I'm amused how a lot of people here have the courage to do the same thing that I do, that's why I said it's not uncommon.

What about you?

I suppose in the end that's true....

...Me? What about me?

Are you a hero?

I don't feel so, no. I've yet to protect anyone who needed it.

Anyone that protects the innocent and risk their lives is a hero in my book.

But shouldn't they be successful before they're revered as a hero?

Anyone can be a hero. It's all about building the courage to fight for what's right. Even if things didn't go out the way you wanted, you still put your life on the line for others.

...Perhaps you're right. Still, I... No one would ever consider me a hero from my world. Because of my own inability to protect myself, many have given their lives for me. It wouldn't be right for people to call me a hero when the number of people who have died in my stead outranks the number of people I've protected.

That's why it isn't the same for you and the others; from that video alone, it's clear all of you have saved countless lives.

[Oh, larsa. be careful, she'll get a big head.]

W-Well... not countless lives.

[she chuckles sheepishly while rubbing the back of her head.]

I just do what I'm assigned to do, y'know?

[ Larsa is never careful. How do you think everyone died?! ]

That may be the case, but remember: you could have always said no.

Oh, of course! There were a few that I've handed the mission to someone else.
