[You know, finding absolute silence in a place like this is pretty much impossible.]

[Of course, that's not going to keep this old panda from trying. Sitting on the floor of his room, Shifu was fully dedicated to actually meditating and not letting the noise get to him this day. Meditation is a crucial part of his daily routine after all...and he ( Read more... )

[Hm. He's not sure he's ever seen something like you but is that really saying anything on this ship?

Either way, he sympathizes just slightly about annoying noises when you'd rather there be peace.]

Have you tried visiting the park? There's usually quiet to be found there.

[Come now, a red panda's hardly the weirdest thing on this ship. Even if he does talk.]

[But here comes his first technology fail with the 'accidental' part.]

Strange, I don't remember leaving this on.

[Oh. More sympathy though he's not exactly showing it.]

The Guide is known for doing things like that.

[He's trying. Honest.]

Yet another thing I am to worry about with this thing, isn't it?

That's just space ships for you. There's always something going on, something making noise. You get used to it.

Or go insane.

Haven't seen that happen too many times, though.

Really? I would have question why no one does go insane from this, but I feel that might be pointless.

Might be. It just becomes the normal thing after a while. Eventually you start worrying if there's no obnoxious engine sounds.

So it's put up with this noise because if it's actually quiet then you might as well wish for a quick painless death. Wonderful.

...I suggest a more open area.

A suggestion I am very much considering now. Would you happen know of such a place?
[These two make a dangerous combination...]

Hn... There are quieter areas in the park and gardens. And the dolphin pool is generally peaceful, if you keep away from the doors.

[Dangerous, but highly interesting...]

I would hope for places much less public, but it would seem I can't be too picky here.

If you are looking for a place that is quiet, I would suggest one of the gardens or the park. Or you can rent a training room.

A training room? They offer such places here?

Yes, they do. I've gone there to train myself.

Not a bad idea, though I may have to save up a bit more to use one of these rooms.

I don't mind the sounds, but they're so different from the kinds I'm used to.

You are much more adaptable than I am then. I can hardly stand another moment of this.

Why is it so bad?

These sounds are so...unnatural. I've never heard of such things. And then they're so unrelenting in their procedure. It's enough to drive one absolutely mad.

[One of those times super-hearing really sucks to have.]
