Alright, here are the very basic basics, including the things the aliens have probably told you for completeness sake.

Supposedly the world you live on has been destroyed and you are one of the survivors that have been picked up to live here from now on. The fish in your ear let's you understand everything people say to you, but it doesn't work on text, but the guide does that so it works out most of the time. You have to work to pay the rent, but school pays too. The who would be the guys who run the ship, but no one knows if they're giant liars abou everything.

Uuuuh, what else...oh yeah, some of the aliens want to exterminate refugees, there are weird things like ninjas, ghosts and knights here, but also talking magic unicorns.
