[Cats, cats, more cats.... well, more cats with wings. The biggest one, the mother cat Alice, is just sitting there, wings fluttering a bit as one of the kittens crawls over her. The feed turns away and it's Naomi again. She seems... bothered? Who knows.]

[Huh? This is a little unusual. But Navel is used to complying to her demands by now. As long as the kittens are asleep, he doesn't mind hurrying home.]

Yeah, sure. I'm off soon. Is everything alright, Doctor?

Uh, yeah, I'm still at work...

[Okay Naomi he knows that being a "Prince Charming" isn't exactly the best job he could have taken but give him a break, he needs it after being forced to be a lawyer last month.

At least everything is okay.]

...I was going to leave early anyway.

Are you now?

[Thinks or knows?]

Yes. Kittens require socializing in order to get along with people. They usually become feral otherwise.

[Knows.]

Huh? They do?

[The cats on his world didn't seem mean or feral. Scared maybe, but he never was attacked by one.]

Um...if you want, I could come by and play with them.

Yes, they do. All domesticated animals can fall on instinct if given the opportunity. It usually happens when they're around more of their kind; they set up a hierarchy.

[Oh video game worlds. Some animals have to be nice in them.]

I would appreciate it if you did, Seto.

They're something like that. They act more like bats than birds.

Very interesting. And they need to begin socializing?

Yes. Considering their mother was somewhat feral and we want them to find homes, it's best that they become familiar with more people.

Are they? After having them around, you slowly stop noticing.

I hear that'll happen with a lot of things!

Can't their interact by themselves?

Yes, they can, but if they're going to be adopted, they require more experience with people other than Little Guy and myself.

[Totally missing the point No1]

I didn't know it was a requirement. Animals in pet shops are usually stuck in a glass cage and they don't have much contact.

While it may not be interaction, they see customers every day.
