[Why look, it's CR-S01. Seems he has something he'd like to broadcast, though he looks rather uncomfortable.]

Ah... How do I say this...

[A small pause. There's a bark off-screen from his Shiba during the pause, before he begins speaking again.]

This... may seem like an odd request, but... I'm wondering if someone could help me.

You do whatever comes naturally, of course! Starting with a talk over a dinner.

Yes! You should know! On dates you go places you both are interested in and talk about or do whatever feels right. Go with the moment.

Ah... I don't really know. I've never really gone on dates before coming here...

[Brittany has no idea who you are but she's totally an expert St this sort of thing!]

Dinner and dancing, mainly.

And I don't mean the kind with music.

[Dancing without music? What does that even mean? :|a]

Yeah.

I mean, some people like to wait until at least the third or so date before dancing, but that's totally up to you~!

Ah... if you insist. I'm not entirely sure how one dances without music, though...

[He is serious, he does not get what you are saying.]

It all depends. Some people like taking their date to a nice place to eat and maybe a movie. Other people cook a meal at home and light candles for a quiet time between the the two of them. If it's a first date, generally the idea is take them out and have some fun.

Hmm... Well, I've taken her to dinner once before, and we had fun. I'd like to take her out on more dates, but I don't entirely have any ideas.

Huh... Well, a trip to the beach sometimes is good, or maybe to a park or some kind of harmless fun game the two of you can play at. When my wife and I was dating, I took her to the beach or to movies or out to the gallery... stuff she enjoyed. I used to buy her flowers and little stuffed toys.

Things she enjoyed... I see. [He nods. That seemed simple enough.]

She liked little stuffed toys?

It depends on the person! I usually went for food or walks on my dates.

I don't think you have to worry about that so much. She's not there for the scenery, she's there for the company. Just... pick something you both like, or something neither one of you have done before.

You think that would be enough?

[awww, seeing posts like this on the network always makes her happy. more love is always a good thing.]

Personally, I don't think it really matters what you do on a date... just the fact that you're spending time with the person you love should be enough.

That seems to be the most consistent advice I'm receiving. The only reason I asked is because I've never done something like this before.

[laughs a little]

It was the same for me on my first date.
