[Why yes! Hello again, Thor, Noin here again - but this time, the average woman appears to be rather directly looking into the camera, situated on what appears to be a large metal cage, a bit of odd gear sitting in a pile next to her - looks rather like protective wear, honestly, a bit scuffed and torn up.
One could say it looked rather like thick

...they can talk?

Some of them, it seems. I have a feeling with the Babelfish, basically everything can talk if given the chance.

What's a Babelfish?

The babelfish is what they put in your ear when you were first brought on board. It translates for you what you otherwise would not be able to understand. If you're careful not to lose it, you could try taking it out for a moment in an area and listen to what you're missing.

[But she can always appreciate a cute dog.]
[Ignoring the chatterboxes--because, at this point, talking dogs are like w/e--she focuses on the creamy sable]

The dog's ears flatten against its head and it makes a low whining sound.]

Surprisingly, yes, despite all of my inexperience with handling such animals - though there are plenty that don't. I've been told that due to my "all-human status", there is no reason for me to interact with them.
[She's not bothered by this - she's seen a couple of them and oh god. She wouldn't wish them on anyone.]

See, this is why I prefer lizards.

Seems only natural - there are more things to give credence to now.
[She chuckles as there's a inhuman sound - a dog whining, wondering who she's paying attention to over it! How could she?]

[She chuckles and goes to pet the animal who is attempting to smell her Guide.]
He's a bit shy - I found him nearly dumped into someone's meal. My guess is he came in with one of...earth related refugees.
