Who's big idea is this? Did the last ship just conveniently decide that it didn't want me or is ship hopping suddenly a norm? Because I am very not set right now

[Oh my god Bruce, just suck it up. You're Bruce Wayne. Don't tell me you're having cold feet dealing with a thirteen-year-old boy who's favorite thing to do is a god damn flip.]
Alright. D-...er. [Calling you dad. MOST AWKWARD THING EVER.]
[He was excited at first. Oh boy it's Bruce. But by the time Bruce had arrived, Dick had already realized that he had no idea how to talk to him like this.
Which....made this a whole lot of awkward.
This was a terrible idea. He's just going to look up and stare at you.] ...Hi.
Uhm...[Shit shit shit. WHAT SHOULD HE SAY. You're supposed to be able to think on your feet Dick! What is this stuttering and failure to be able to form whole sentences?] I'm ho-man I can't even say that because I've been on this ship before! [Actually, Jason was taking care of Dick that time.]
Yeah. I guess they thought it would be cute to toss me from one ship to another. Really frickin not asterous. [Don't you love him Bruce? No matter which Dick it is? :C]
Then hopefully you're aware of at least some of the workings of this ship- the Drive, the search for Magrathea, the paradoxes and complications of the wormholes?
[He'd get angry and throw a childish tantrum. Then go back to bothering you. Such the life of Dick Grayson.
Dick just shrugs.] You're still you. I mean, kind of? I don't exactly what you went through since you're ahead in time. [Rambling. He's doing it.] I'm kind of glad you're here in any shape, way, or form?
[oh fuck his life]
Get out of heavily trafficked areas until it wears off.

Oh. DAD. YOU SURE GOT A LOT OLDER. He'll freak out about that later.]
I did. Lady Une dropped me off at the receptionist desk. At Wayne Enterprises. [Gives him that adorable you-better-come-get-me-dad face.]

[that "oh god I haven't had to deal with this for 50 years and I'd rather not start again" face]
I'll be there in four minutes.

[lol you're so lucky that "dad" didn't slip out but HE IS ON HIS WAY and he shows up in exactly four minutes just like he said he would]

I suppose there's no point in asking if you're from my time.

Yeah. That'd be pretty pointless.

Yeah yeah. I already know about these time paradoxes, and the strange multiverses, and the stupid things the ship is capable of doing.
Heck I would know by now if my dad is suddenly old enough to be my grandpa. [8|]

It saves some time explaining, anyway.
Not that it makes it any easier when confronted with it.

[hi was I supposed to make you feel better because I won't]
Superboy, Artemis, and Kid Flash are your teammates, correct?

He wasn't expecting you to anyways. Ass.]
They are my teammates. I'm assuming you've met or talked to them at the very least already.
