The destruction of Gensokyo and the surrounding world is debatable. But I am sure both of you are not so naive as to accept such a thing as straight fact. As for those from Gensokyo there are quite a few of you.

I can tell you what I have found to be the closest to "true" with the information provided.

This ship is run by a device called the "Improbability Drive", it's existence, operation and effect are all based on how improbable it is. This drive seems to attract those who have "lost their world" and this ship is a refugee ship more or less. Though I am not doubtful some worlds may have been destroyed, the likely hood that all have been is very slim. Instead I think this drive just picks up people from time to time by accident. Which explains my presence, and most likely all of yours.

I believe there is a convenient map located in the guides database. New Gensokyo can be accessed from a new shrine and the map should have the information updated. That is if Yukari or Reimu kept their responsibilities.
