[Howdy Thor! Tom is currently on the last few puffs of a cigarette, looking very sleepy and he is watching an animated movie, which can be seen and heard from the guide.
Suspension of disbelief, dude. It's not supposed to make perfect sense. It does its job of telling a story, and if it has to break a few natural laws to do it, so be it.
Well, yeah. [Tom tops back on his purely cosmetic glasses, looking a bit huffy.] If you want to take all of the fun out of it. And by fun I mean brain haemorrhages. It's kind of cheap to just go 'it's fiction, do whatever you want.' You need some sort of internal logic or what's the point?
Just keep in mind a few things. First, all it's meant to do is tell a story. It does not need to make perfect sense. They tried stories that made perfect sense already, with French Neo-classic theater. That fell through horribly. Also Bellisario's Maxim: "Don't examine this too closely".
All in all, think about what a story is trying to tell you, not the means by which they did it.
Uhm. Well, I don't think so. I mean, you get a deeper appreciation for it if you really get involved in it. I mean, this is an okay movie, sure, but it's a brilliant source of weird questions.

I.
I get that, guy.
It's just way more interesting to raise a whole bunch of questions with no answer.

It's way more fun to start asking questions. Seriously, it's really fun when. Someone tries to answer your questions, with like. Internal logic.
It's great. We once managed to get four hours of ranting out of an hour long Doctor Who.

Yeah, definitely overthinking it.

I'm not sure if I should be relieved or offended.

I had hoped it was kind of neutral. Oh my god am I being culturally insensitive? Is. Is it racist if it's a pony?
