[Penelo isn't a college student, but she'd heard about this, and that it was open and... well, it just sounded interesting. She isn't even sure if she's going to take a monster, but, but, oh, they're all so cute! She's totally overwhelmed looking around at all of them, but she's clearly having fun.]

[Matthew sidles over, watching her carefully-he wants to see which one seems to get along best with her, so he can suggest she take that one.]

[There's a blob behind her mimicking her as she looks one way and then the other. Guess it's taken a liking to her. Or it thinks she's funny. Either way, she hasn't noticed it there, and it takes her a second to notice Matthew. In fact, she seems quite surprised when she sees that he's looking at her.]

Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. [She glances to the multitudes of monsters again, and laughs a little.] I don't even know where to start...

I get that often. [Because most people look over his head.[

I would start by turning around.

[In her case, she isn't at all bothered by her instructor being tiny, she had just been distracted.]

Turning around? [Okay... so she does. And the blob turns around, too, then turns to look at her, seeming pleased with itself. Oh, how cute is that? She looks back at Matthew.] You mean this one?

Yeah. When they start copying something, it means they like it. So I guess you've already got a good start with that one.

[street_optimist]

Really? It likes me already? [It must be a friendly one. She kneels down to get a closer look at it, and it bends down as well. She giggles.] You know what? I like you, too.

Heh-Blobs are very good at looking at things and working out how they work. I guess that extends to people, and you're just the kind of person it likes. Watch out though, it still might try eating you.

[street_optimist]

[She stands up again and smiles at Matthew.] I'll be careful. [A slight pause, as she seems to think of something.] What should it eat?

Anything. Blobs can digest just about anything, but to get a really strong one, it should be solid stuff, like metals.

[He scratches his nose in thought.]

But I would suggest high protein meat like chicken. Since providing metal could be expensive.

Alright. [It eats metal, how strange...] How often should I feed it?

It's best to make sure they have something to eat at all times. You can tell when they don't, since you can see through them, but they digest slowly anyway.

What do I do if it tries to eat something that shouldn't be eaten?

Hit it with something. Really hard, in the face.
