Nineteen Levels on my Dungeon-[Video/Action]

[Hello, Thor! You seem to be catching the end of a lecture on obedience in monstrous creatures, as delivered very eloquently and informatively by one Matthew Gravesend. Due to his critical shortness, he is in fact, standing on top of his podium. In addition to his usual black suit, he has a slightly oversized black scarf wrapped around his neck and ( Read more... )

[Marisa isn't there for class or anything, but she's having a lot of fun playing with one specific wolf cub. She's on her broom and they're racing at the moment. She may or may not steal him before class ends.]

[She really should have been in the class, because then she would know in four months without a pack that wolf cub will be six foot tall at the shoulder, become immune to sleep and slowly go insane, leading it to thrash around in rage so much it can be mistaken for earthquakes. Break Down Wolves are not fun pets.]

Hey, Miss Kirisame! Don't get them too excited, it's going to start head butting things!

[Two make a pack, right? Marisa can just steal two!]

We're having fun, ze~ If it happens, it happens.

[Like now as Marisa pulls a bit in front of the wolf and it launches itself at her. See the witch graze and laugh.]

[Five at least, and you gotta get the right gender balance too!

She might graze it, but that wolf can't stop and its head is designed for breaking adventurer's equipment. And it may well have just knocked itself out too.]

...I have to use this room for the rest of the month.

[Marisa lands next to it and checks to make sure its okay if unconscious and pets it.]

That was probably a good idea to begin with.

[Since that was its first head bashing for a while, its probably okay, if dazed.

Matthew goes over as well-looks okay.]

Well, they're supposed to break stuff, so it's not like I mind, I'd just not like to have my pay lowered to replace stuff.

You could always but a barrier up around to absorb a lot of the impact, ze.

I can only do environment and cross-dimension barriers right now, not impact barriers.

[He grabs the cub firmly by the tail on the back of its head and lifts it to its feet, to see how well it can stand right now.]

They're not supposed to hang around here for long anyway.

I can put one up for you, ze. It'll take a few good hits before shattering.

That'd be very nice of you. Yes please.

[The cub shakes its head, and now seems to have recovered from making a massive dent in the wall.]

They're not very good at damaging magic until their horns grow in.

I kinda want one.

[She gives the cub a kiss on the nose before hopping back on her broom to float up out of range. There she casts the shielding spell, the outside of the room shimmering blue-white for a second.]

There we go.

Thank you!

[He calls up, scratching the cub between its nubs, which sets off one of its legs, and DOFF it falls over. Which means it can get its belly scratched, which basically gets it comatose.

He waves to her to come down, because he doesn't want to shout to her about the fine details of Buster Wolf growth.]

[The witch drifts back down and then lays on her stomach, still on her broom, and kicks her feet idly while scratching the cub's belly.]

I've got it timed to dissipate at the end of class if it doesn't shatter before.

Thanks.

[He shuffles out of the way to let her do the work.]

If you want one...You can take this one for the month, like the students. But if it gets separated from a pack too young, it turns into a dangerous creature I don't think even I could control. So, after that you'll have to give it back until its horns grow in, okay?

How long does it take for the horns to grow in? And how do they get along with other animals?

It depends-I haven't raised any before, but considering it's me...

[He scratches his nose, a tell that he's calculating. He's usually pretty modest, but when it comes to monsters, he knows he's a prodigy and he happens to have the book which contains more info about monsters than anything else in the cosmos.]

I'd say about two months. So, that'd be the time you had it and then another month. Of course, since I like you, I wouldn't mind if you came to see it whenever you wanted. Anyway, Buster Wolves will get along with anything if they're obedient. You'd probably have to get rough with it at first, but remember it's not an animal, it's a monster.
