dream post | I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why me?'
['Sup Thor. Getting tired of those dream posts yet? Well, here's one more to add to the pile.
It starts out simple. Ordinary, even. Get up, go to school, run errands, go back to the dorms. Time blurs and melts and the SEES girls are walking into Tartarus, chatting idly, dressed in their finest winter wear. Minako stops inside, frowning. Something's off. She's pretty sure there weren't flamingos scattered around the lobby the last time she was here. But then again, there was an entire disco themed block, complete with neon and more neon. Maybe it was just one of those things you don't question about the giant tower of shadows and doom.
Fuuka asks a question ahead of her; it's nearly impossible to hear her, much less Yukari's answer. It's hard to move, hard to breath, hard to think it's like everything's at the bottom of the sea-]
"Hey, sorry we're late."
[A voice cuts through the oppressive silence and in a blink, everything's back to normal.
Except the flamingos. The flamingos are still there.]
"Jeez senpai, what took you so long?"
"Come on, we're here, the Dkzzzzzzcccch's still young and we're ready to kick some ass. What more do you need Yuka-tan?"
"Yeah, what krrrrsh said."
"Oh yeah, we forgot to mention, but we wanted to try out something new. Hope you don't mind."
[She turns, smiling, ready to assure them that it's fine if they're a little late, really, the decision to go train had been last minute anyways. The words fall to the floor and break apart (quite literally, she can hear Koro whining over the tinkling sound of glass) as she focuses on what the boys- what they're-
Oh. God.]
"Hehe, now I can see why you ran around in this thing. It's not that bad!"
"No kidding. I can already feel the difference in my range of movement."
"And it keeps us nice and cool, so we won't get tired as easily."

And the guide flickers in time to catch Minako fall out of bed, flailing wildly.]
