[ The setting is an
old tea house sitting on the side of a road over looking a mountain pass. Various travelers were sitting on benches, nibbling on
all sorts of delicacies and sipping hot tea and sake out of roughly glazed cups. On one bench is Ryuuichi, who was wearing a traditional kimono dyed a dark indigo color and he was playing a
koto. The only difference between this setting and a real Edo-period setting was the fact that some of the travelers were either aliens or robots. There were a couple mice with swords dueling across the back of a bald guy with a metal hand, and yes, that guy in the corner smoking a pipe just so happen to be a frog in a frock coat and a big powdery wig.
And that koto Ryuuichi's playing? It is plugged into
electric speakers that looks like they had been made by someone that never seen one before. And the music's loud enough to make the thatch roof vibrate and topple over a very nice temple made out of sugar by the local ants. After playing a couple minutes, he stops and looks up at the crowd of travelers. ]
Okay, that was Cherry Blossoms I left Behind. Next up My Mother, The Mountain, and A Troll.
[ ooc; Got a request? Want to be a samurai on the way to a ball? Space pirate looking for a place to hide? Ryuu's dream is pretty much any anime trope stuck in an Edo-stylked tea house. ]
