Perhaps.

But meeting them is really all you get to do.

Seems like it's like that in a lotta places, though, not just here. Still don't mean it can't be fun in the meantime.

It doesn't get old to you?

Nah. Before we got here, only new folk we'd ever meet would be them that we was ferrying from place to place, and that was only for a week or so at most. It's just nice to chat when you can and then they go off on their lives.

Would you feel the same if they didn't remember?

...It'd probably bother me a little. But most of the time, I wouldn't really know, right? And here it's all the fault of this da chung wu dahn of a skyplex, so it's not like they was just forgettin'.

...No, probably not.

I guess that might make it easier to think about.

Which, blamin' it on the ship instead of makin' it personal?

Yes. Just disappointing. Instead of something else.

[Please hold while he slowly works out which emotion is applicable.]

Not... angering. At least not at them. Though I'd still rather be on the ship than lost in space.

Well, yeah, dunno many who'd rather be lost in space.

Would you be mad if someone forgot without all this ship nonsense gettin' involved?

pacifisted February 23 2011, 03:36:40 UTC
I suppose that depends on what they have to lose.

If they could help it?

[A thread of frustration slipping through the underside of his words and tying them neatly together.]

...Yeah. Probably.

You mean lost in space like- just drifting, right?

You make it sound like they'd forget on purpose.

I do.

[Now, which one is that an answer to?]

[being made out of derp derp happee, she's assuming the former]

Trowa, I don't think anyone wants to be out driftin', no matter who's pickin' them up.

[brief pause]

...Okay, I can think of one time where maybe, but only if it's the Feds doin' the pickin'. And that's only for one or two folk.

[He was about to say something to contradict her, but her statement has piqued his curiosity. Trowa decides to hold that thought.]

...What's that one time?
