But you asked what it felt like, not what it actually was.

Huh.

Have you ever felt the urge to get away from something because of how it made you feel? Or has an idea ever made you feel uncomfortable?

You're truly an odd case.

Fear is essentially a survival mechanism against something that is threatening to you, in which you either want to run away from or fight so that you survive. Usually your sense of hearing and sight become aroused, your eyes widen and your mouth becomes dry. Fear can strike you motionless or drive you to cower to escape notice. Your heart hammers in your chest and your breathing quickens. You begin to perspire, but you also tremble as your blood runs cold. The hairs on your body will rise up, and every muscle will be taut. A pit will form in your stomach and your skin will become pale. Your mind will lose all frivolous thought and focus only on escaping or driving off that which is causing you fear. A man or animal who is acting on fear can be unpredictable and dangerous; they'll only focus on survival, not rationality.

Because of that disregard to rationality, Fear is usually an effective weapon.

[Eeek, rumbled! Since text is still hard and it's not doing anything for him now, he switches to his usual video.

So Ran gets to see Matthew's fluffy little head, which currently has a black eye.]
