I can't say I'd be sorry to leave this month's job. [Ugh star mapping.] Still. Unimportant.

Dreadfully quiet in comparison to the usual, isn't it? An anomaly, a broken pattern. Easy to subscribe to the notion of the Drive playing nice this time, albeit a little naive if you bother to glance at the history of the ship.

[Holmes has basically dropped out of radar for the past two weeks-- writing isn't exactly conducive to providing an incentive for getting out of his room, and thus he's just been satisfying himself with doing whatever a Sherlock Holmes does in his spare time, in between cases.

But, alas, the Drive-- he'd never admit to it (at least, not yet), but truth be told, he's been feeling morose. No Watson to kick him out of his gloom. A familiar face is nice, at this point in time.]

More data would be required in order to make a sound diagnosis of whether or not the Drive has been...tamed, but it seems rather dormant, for now.

Disappointed, are we?

Ah, well, maybe. It would be kinda nice if nothing happened this time though? It's kinda scary, to worry about what random thing might happen this time...

[Feeling a slight tingle in his arm, he rubs at it absently. He thinks that actually, it's a tiny bit exciting now that he's getting used to things here. But it is scary to think that something like the towel incident he's heard about could happen again.]
