Hmm, I don't either, but I got it kind of explained to me. It's a time to celebrate being with friends and family, and you buy gifts for them to show your appreciation!
There has to be more to it than that if everybody is getting into it. You can celebrate friends and family any time of the year. Why this month? Why on one particular day?
I can't right now. I'm spending time with friends.
But I think we can get together Monday and see what we can do. It'll be easier to get the job done if we both work together instead of doing it seperately.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's to big an area to handle by ourselves. Why not start it first thing in the morning, and then maybe us and the other Christmas Lighters can go see our handiwork that night?
Oh, you're hanging lights too?
I must admit, I still don't get this Christmas thing.

Yeah, it seemed like something fun to do.
And I've never celebrated it before, but it seems like a cool holiday, don't you think?

...I meant...I really don't understand it. I really don't know anything about it. I haven't had the chance to go to the library and look it up.

Oh, are you going to go the parks and do the lights there? I could use some help out there if you have the time.

Maybe we can get hot cocoa for everyone too.

[She's all excited now. Fun and work? Who could pass that up?]
So we'll meet up in the park first thing Monday morning then?

It'd be nice to get out for a bit and do something sociable.
[You just restored her faith in humanity Ven. Congratulations.]

Well, we're all living together on this ship right? I know it's big, but that makes us all neighbors, so we should get to know each other.
