10th Playdate - [Video/Action]

[The guide clicks on, showing nothing but black bats flying about in a rather frantic manner. They obscure the screen, and fill whatever room the guide is in. Nothing can be seen but bats amongst bats...]

Shh...Shh... I am here, Remilia...

[The bats begin to slow themselves, bit by bit... until finally they move away from the guide to show

[Patchouli doesn't bother responding to the video log. She just makes her way over. This was bad. Very bad. But she had to heed that call. Else the sisters, under influence of whatever drug they had, would put an end to everything on this ship.]

[She stopped just outside the door, armed with several spell cards and spellbook, in case things went sour. She knocked; two sharp raps on the door.]

Flandre. Remilia. This is Patchouli. You called?

[And Flandre snaps her fingers. The door opens itself to reveal a room filled with Remilia's bats fluttering about. Flandre is still sitting on her lap, and simply smiles over at Patchouli. She gestures over with her free hand.]

Yes... I did. Come here.

[Patchouli enters the room, ignoring the bats. They were not a new sight, and there were other, more important things to focus on in that room. she approaches the sisters, kneeling next to them. She wastes no time in starting to dig into this.]

Alright. What happened?

...You've been injected with that drug, haven't you? From that one in the hospital who's gone insane and escaped.

[Her smile remains, but her eyes sharpen a little.]

There is nothing wrong here. In fact... I've never felt better.

[She reaches out with her free hand and places it upon Patchouli's cheek gently.]

[She chuckles darkly, licking her fangs.]

Truthfully, Remilia has been weary of any who approach me... She need to know the faces of those she can trust.

[Remilia tenses slightly, brow lowering into a glare, but not at Patchy. It agitated her, that damn way that Flandre spoke, like she didn't understand. She harbored no hostility to her old friend; she would had glared at anyone else, but had initially settled for a neutral, guarded look.]

[And that other bit, well...]

[It was hers. It was all hers. It was hers, not Flandre's... but the elderst Scarlet just ridgidly sat there, inwardly boiling.]

[There was... nothing she could do about it, admittedly...]

[New mistress? Flandre had taken over somehow? Just what was going on here? Patchouli knew it had something to do with the drug, but she didn't know what that drug did. There was a moment of silence as she tried to piece together what had happened. There wasn't enough information, though. She would have to try and get more out of Flandre while treading lightly with her words, a difficult task indeed.]

New mistress? I was not aware of this. How did this come to be?

[And she pets Remilia lovingly, still in her sister's embrace. She chuckles softly.]

Seems to have been affected rather negatively. Although much more affectionate, she seems... Feral.

[Just what did this drug do? and what could she do to fix it? It was not safe for either of the Scarlet sisters to be behaving like this... And, well, she hoped that, after this was over, the sisters would forgive her for what she was planning.]

[She stood up again, taking a more stern tone of voice.]

I doubt you'll be approached by others in this state, either of you. I'll even ensure Meiling guards the door here to make sure of that fact. Now, if you're done wasting my time, I am going to go out and find a way to get you two back to normal before you break any more than you probably already have.

[At the word normal, Flandre's smile vanishes and she shoots a hand out, gripping the front of Patchy's clothing.]

...Excuse me? Did I hear that you want to return me to normal?

[As sensitive to tension as she was right now, Remilia would have been bristling if she had fur. Threats. Her eyes narrowed, flicking back and forth between her sister and her friend, and her low growl picking up again.]

[...However, who she was growling at was very, very unclear.]

[Patchouli kept her composure, if only because losing it at this point would only worsen the situation, and the sisters had lost it enough for the three of them. With Flandre the way she is now, anything that she said could be cause for something bad going down. ...where was Meiling when you needed her to take a hit?]

Hmph. Fine then. Stay the way you are. Just here, in this little room. Your morbid presence now will only serve to lose each and every friend you've made here. Doubt that matters to you, though. You'd probably just kill everyone, the way you are. but then you'd be alone, here on this hunk of metal floating to nowhere, no home to go back to, your feral sister protecting you from nothing. Least until the drug wears off on its own.

Or, you can go back to normal and not delay the inevitable, keep your relationships, and have a chance to return to the Scarlet Devil Mansion. If you're the 'new mistress' now, it's your call, really.
