[A fumble as she digs her guide from the pile of belongings that had been spilled from her bag. There's green blood on her face, but you couldn't tell from the way she's smiling.]
Somewhere on the second floor, I think. Have you ever studied alien anatomy, Ed? It's fascinating!

[Smirks slightly, picks up her bag and makes her way out to the hallway. On a whim, she takes a few random turns, just to make finding her a little more interesting. Maybe they could play hide and seek.]
[Her eyes focus off-camera. She's wandered into a slightly more populous part of the ship.]
You shouldn't be worried about me, Ed. You should be worried about...
[She turns her Guide to focus on an unassuming little red lizard-alien in a lab coat, minding his own business and not even aware that he's been singled out.]
What do you think of this one? Do you think his insides would be interesting?
[One might get the sense that she's enjoying his panic. She keeps the camera trained on the little red alien.]
But it'll be so boring to wait here without something to do...
What if I just...
... made him stop breathing?
[A moment later, the alien gets a puzzled look on his face, then a panicked one, as the oxygen is willed out of the air surrounding him. He clutches at his throat, making horrible sounds as his lungs try to work.]

[In the back of his mind, it registers that he's being toyed with, but he's too busy trying to figure out where she is and what the hell it was that could cause a change like this in her, to even acknowledge that he's being jerked around.]
Re: [video] FFFsteelalchemyNovember 27 2010, 19:59:06 UTC
[What will you trade for him? How many times had that question taunted him, though in relation to someone else. To hear Polly ask such a question was... chilling. She knew the sort of meaning a question like that held for him, the kinds of things he'd traded in the past.]
Re: [video] FFFcurious_copycatNovember 28 2010, 00:51:29 UTC
[The creature scrabbles at this throat pittifully, yellow-slitted eyes bugging out, tongue swelling and lolling from its jaws, red scales turning burgundy as it fights to breathe.]
[Polly's voice is mockingly concerned, as the creature falls over, convulsing.]
You'd better hurry, Ed, he hasn't got much Time...!
I can tell you what he's thinking, right now, if you want...
Re: [video] FFFcurious_copycatNovember 28 2010, 03:34:00 UTC
[Polly can hear the staccato of his footsteps approaching, and he might be able to hear their echo, himself, through her side of the feed. The girl watches him round a corner just as the lizard stops twitching.]
[What did they do to her? He's going to kick their asses when he finds them...]
Where are you?

[oh shit why is he getting a really bad feeling about this...]
I'm coming Polly. Stay there.
[second floor... aren't there laboratories down there?]

But this place is boring, now.
[They've stopped twitching, you see.]
I'd rather come and meet you. Maybe I'll get in an extra lesson or two along the way...

Polly... are you feeling all right?

How sweet, you're worried...

[he's not sure how to even describe her current state]
[but it's very unPollyish]

[And what a snap.]
Let him go, Polly. Please! Let him breathe!
[No, he doesn't want to know, because he has a feeling he already knows what the alien is thinking.]
[He's running as fast as he can't, but is he anywhere near? He's only been on this level a few times.]
