Petal 9 [Video] Ninth Petal
[Behold! Shunsui has an audience of children, all sitting cross legged and wide eyed.
He has this because he has a puppet. An incredibly simple puppet-in fact, it basically looks like someone has sewn little arms onto a white sock. Or at least it would, if Shunsui had not taken a little pink cocktail umbrella and made it into a puppet hat. Above him is a sign saying 'Educational Puppet Stories.'
Shunsui is not bothering to pretend the puppet is actually talking. He's lying on his side in clear view, waving the arm with the puppet half heartily. He seems to be ending his show now.]
Mmm, and so, the cycle of meaningless violence continued, until the stakes became so high that no one dared make a move. Peace was only to be found in the hearts of the men on either side, but neither trusted the other really believe it.
The story does not end here, my friends, but this is all of it that I know.
[The puppet bows, and Shunsui lifts a hand to tip his hat over his eyes, fully intending to take a nap right there.]
