Does anyone know what I can do with a diamond? It's uncut, but it's gorgeous, and it's just sort of burning a hole in my pocket, if you will, so. Suggestions?

And before you ask, no. It isn't for someone. It...was actually for me. Ja-- Someone gave it to me, and now I'm trying to figure out how to handle that.

Well. He gave me a diamond. Uncut, and in a box and such, but. I think it's safe to say that things are pretty good.

Yeah, he. He had it with him when he came back. Said he'd picked it up just for me from where he'd been. And since Jack isn't normally the sort for romantic moments, so. I believe him. It was a bit of a surprise, though.

One other man suggested cufflinks. I don't know that any of the other suggestions of necklaces or bracelets or inlaid on some kind of a tool are really along the lines of my sense of style, I'm afraid.

That'd probably be a good idea. I mean, it was a gift so you can do whatever you want with it, but if he went to a lot of trouble then he might want a say.

He said he found it in a bunch of things from the planet Midnight. And apparently he also found some sort of monster from the planet that knocked him out for a while. It's why he was gone for so long. It put him in some sort of a coma or something. Not until after he defeated it, though. Trust Jack to do things like that.
