So if you click your little calender thing, wherever that is on your screen (bottom corner?), you'll see that it is theoretically on the 8th today! Under the eight is fifteen, and under that is twenty-two. See that 22nd? I'll be in Canada then. Eeee! ♥
So this is a planning post! Things I need to obtain or organise or settle before I leave. Very little of this is urgent in the sense of my holiday depending on it (in fact, don't think any of it is), but it's all stuff I'd like organised or done. We shall see what happens, though. I am notoriously horrible at doing anything ever. How does anyone stand me, sob........
→ Warm clothes
• Does this really need much explaining? What I really want is an entirely new wardrobe, my clothes are all pretty worn and knackered if I'm completely honest. I'm wearing trousers right now that I've owned since I was... hell, eighteen maybe? They must be some five or six years old. It really, really wouldn't hurt to get new clothes, gosh. But more pressingly, I need warm clothes. I am going to a cold place, I need to be prepared for this.
In particular, I want tights/leggings. Because yes, poor cold worthless legs require it.
→ N-new underwear
• OKAY MY UNDERWEAR ISN'T SIX YEARS OLD OKAY GOOD but there are various reasons new underwear wouldn't hurt, moving on...
→ Travel Insurance
• I'm basically an asshole and wouldn't worry about this, but I am surrounded by people who are insisting I absolutely must or what will happen when I am struck by a bus, WHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN. I don't suppose they're wrong, but ugh, spending money and ugh organising. This will require a trip to the Post Office, I suppose. Hopefully nothing more complex than that.

• Because my hair needs to be dyed again, and I suppose trimmed or tidied or whatever the hell it is these people do to unruly hair. I just want to be pretty okay god :(((((

• ....... okay this list idea is starting to seem like a poor one, I am just getting embarrassed now. Just want to be pretty okay......... :(((((

• Well that's an exageration, haha, but whatever, this is all well in hand anyway. I'D HAVE TO BE WORTHLESS TO SCREW THIS UP, I WORK IN THE DAMN HEALTH STORE.

- Absolutely safe plane material. No one could possibly glance over and be offended by this.
- I like having opinions about things! Ponies are popular at the moment, wouldn't hurt to solidify my own view of such!
- I've seen enough to know I can waste a few hours on it, at least. I'm not going to virulently hate it, whatever happens.
- I already have a favourite pony.
Cons
- Anyone who does glance over probably won't be offended, but they'll undoubtedly have some opinion.
- Might end up sitting next to a 'brony'. IT'S HARDLY LIKELY, BUT THAT WOULD BE PAINFUL IF IT DID OCCUR.
- Might want to waste an hour on this, but eight? If I choose this option I'll probably need to buffer it with something else, which means more downloading.
▬ Game of Thrones
Pros
- Familiar and safe. I like this series enough to be assured in watching it.
- Probably the most respectable thing on this list in terms of glancing eyes.
- I have some of it downloaded already.
- When is the next season due again? Might not hurt to refresh.
Cons
- Titties and blood. It took a distinct effort on my part to remember that this probably is an R rating or such, and probably isn't comfortable public viewing material. I BLAME SOMETHING ELSE ON THIS LIST FOR SKEWING THAT PERCEPTION.
- Maybe too familiar.
- That fucking Littlefinger lesbian sex scene. >:(
▬ Spartacus: Blood and Sand
Pros
- I love it forever, bite me.
- New season starts at the end of this month! Excellent time to refresh memory.
- I have the DVDs already, so no download required.

- So so inappropriate for public viewing. Titties and dongs and blood to the max.
- I've seen it multiple times already, not even very long ago even.

Or things I should be considered in advance of a holiday abroad? I am already plenty set for suitcase & personal hygiene, hahaha. Ahhh, so soon...
