I SHOULDN'T BE HERE OOPS
I keep saying that I'm playing Pokémon Black, but I actually own White version. Very observant, self!
I don't really have much time to be posting this, though, so I'm just going to talk about my actual Pokémon a bit. I went into this generation slightly concerned that my interest might be waning. HG/SS never really took off for me, though I certainly enjoyed it well enough, and all the new Pokémon I'd seen hadn't really caught my interest.
BUT I WAS A FOOL. A fool to underestimate the sheer gulf that is looking at a still image of a Pokémon versus. catching, naming and training one. I HAVE A FULL TEAM OF SIX, AND I ♥ THEM ALL.
That being said, most expendable (what a terrible thing to say!), is probably Fran. She's solid as anything, she's a pretty tough old thing, but she's probably my least favourite of the six that I have. She is a... Stoutland? Is that what they're called? She's the final form of Herdier, she's a doggie. She's been here for the long haul now, so I'll feel a little bad if I replace her. But if something catches my eye, she's probably the one who'll go. Sorry, lovely Fran :<
Percy is my starter! And he is the water starter, and he is in his final form. I was so convinced I wanted a Snivy for who even knows how long, but then I somehow became really enamoured with... Dewott? The second form, that samurai otter. That thing just makes me smile so much, I really like it. I never train starters! Percy is a very very rare exception, and I hope he APPRECIATES IT. But he has just evolved into his final stage because I am a big advocate of evolution. LOVE THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE, NOT WHO THEY ONCE WERE. Pokémon try to evolve! Who am I to stop them?! But seriously, I always feel terrible if I stop a Pokémon evolving, that is totally not my call to make. ARE YOU PROUD OF ME, N???
I will ♥ Percy always. He's Percy, he is precious whatever form he's in.
I have Linus! Linus is that green blobby psychic Pokémon, currently second form. I really want to eat him. He looks like delicious lime jelly. ARE YOU PROUD OF ME, N??? Linus is lovely, I love my Linus and he will stay always, but! He is probably the least efficient. He is terribly slow, and his defences are weak. He has great special attack, should he actually live long enough to land anything, but his moveset is also not too positive just now. He's a sweetie, he's staying, but we've got some work to do there yet. But he evolves again! I know this! And there is plenty of room left for him to learn more. We shall get there, Linusss.
DAHLIA IS A FLOWER. I do not remember what Dahlia's evolved form is called, but she was a Petilil. I evolved her with a Sun Stone, because I wanted better statsss. I also... not gonna lie, I did cheat and look up move comparisons before going ahead. I don't usually, but EVOLUTION STONES ARE A COMPLICATED BUSINESS. And I have decided it is okay to evolve her now, I am not worried for other moves. I have an obscene fondness for Petal Dance anyway (this is residual love for Bellossom and Roserade, I expect), and am quite content for her to learn that silly move as well. BEAUTIFUL CONFUSION FOR ALL. My Dahlia is pretty tough, but she has only grass moves right now, so she's a bit set in what she can do. Need to start looking toward using some of my LIMITLESS TM's, I suppose. IT'S SO HARD TO MAKE MYSELF USE THEM... IT'S OKAY, SELF, THEY WON'T DISAPPEAR......
Vera is not a flower! Vera is a flower/bug. Vera is a... that sort of mantis-esque thing, you all know what I mean. VERA IS TOUGH. Vera is immensely tough, I love my Vera. Vera also CONTRACTED POKéRUS. I DON'T EVEN. So my file has Pokérus now, which I had never seen before and it about blows my mind. I do not even know. But Vera is proving really tough and versatile right now, and I adore him. Vera is male :o VERA IS A WANG PRINCESS. Vera is named after Vera Wang WHO IS FEMALE, I KNOW, I DON'T CARE, that is the way it goes. HE WAS A SEWING POKéMON OKAY.
Anddd I should be leaving dfsghjk but finally is Elton John. Well, just Elton, but my mum wanted me to name him after Elton John so that is essentially what he is named for. ELTON IS AMAZING. ELTON WILL NOT BE STOPPED. ELTON'S ATTACK STAT IS HIGHER THAN HIS HP. HE IS RIDICULOUS. I LOVE HIM. He is that absolutely hilariously ridiculous looking fire ape thing. Not Pansear, the other one. Darmanitan, maybe? It's something like that. He was red and circular and now he is red and apeular, and HE IS BRILLIANT. He cracks me up with that ridiculous >:D expression, and I adore him. I don't like to play favourites, I really love my team, but ELTON JUST CRACKS ME UP, THANK YOU ELTON FOR BEING EVERYTHING YOU ARE. Elton makes my heart sing. (and those EYEBROWS)
