happiness is going shopping and having the clerk surprise you with a 20% off coupon. unhappiness is debating whether or not to buy more than i was originally planning to buy (granted, i was already buying more than i had originally planned).
happiness is also discovering a friend's music recommendation was spot on. the artist is john francis and his new album is 'strong wine & spirits'. really fantastic stuff. kind of like a mellowed out, but funkier, jeff buckley. that probably means nothing to anybody, including myself. also, he's a philly local which is always a plus in my book.
