all funned out
in my lack of amusing anecdotes to share with my loyal livejournal audience, i give you yet another boring and standard update.
frday was my normal friday off at work, so i slept in and caught up on much needed sleep. ryan arrived in early evening, as did zach, jon, and a few other friends. after eating chinese for dinner, we proceeded with the planned game night and were up playing games till about 4:30 or 5.
saturday we went food shopping for the camping trip (this upcoming weekend) after which i took a nap. then we caught a late showing of the manchurian candidate which i wasn't all too impressed with.
sunday morning i saw ryan off before i left for church. after church i headed over to philly to hang out with juleann and jeremy. we had a blast. activities included scrabble word games, soul calibur 2, swimming, candy gorging, and an evening showing of bubba ho-tep. i didn't get home till about 2:15 and woke up for work this morning at 8:30. i'd say it was worth it though.
on my way home, a bunch of stupid black people decided to run across the 4 lane highway i was travelling along. no offense to the skin color, but you know how the general rule of thumb is to not wear dark clothing at night so cars can see you? well, these guys all had their shirts off and dark pants on. so, they blended right in with the highway and i almost hit 3 of them. maybe i shouldn't have swerved, who knows.
one more busy weekend for me and then i'm home free for the rest of august. bring it on, camping trip!
