King Lear and Brian Blessed

I was looking for inspiration and I found it The man goes from calm to rage right though to insanity in one speech. I am looking forward to rehearsal on Tuesday now. I think I know what my director was after now. I would recommend the this film to any who like not only Shakespeare but Also Brian Blessed. Special mention goes to Hildegarde Neil who plays the fool and gives a strong performance. It was not a high budget film but I only really noticed that when Brian was not on screen the supporting cast was ok but hard pressed to follow Brian.

A good 190 mins well spent.
