It's (still) so good to be back in Edinburgh! Last night i (properly) had a night out for the first time since moving back here. I've been to the pub a few times with Colin but until last night i hadn't really had a chance to go somewhere i could dance and mingle. Anyway, i went to lynsey_'s Birthday / Vicky's leaving party, saw a few people i hadn't seen for a while and tried to convince Lynsey that she should leave her own party and come to Genetic (i was in a bit of a naughty mood.) At around 1 i left and went to Genetic and i had a bloody good night there. I even danced quite a bit. I definitely need to replace my dead personal stereo though 'cos walking all the way from the Citrus Club back to my flat wouldn't have felt like such a long journey if i'd had some music to listen to. I did meet a few more people on the way home though so it wasn't too bad. I think it was about 4am by the time i got home (so much better than waiting for the first train home at 6am) and i then just pottered about for a bit (quietly 'cos perfect_colin works a standard 9-5 Mon-Fri thingy) and watched one of my DVDs from Screen Select (Super Size Me) then realised it was time Colin was up so knocked on his door to remind him. (Thanks to our working hours we make very good alarm clocks for each other.)

Life is good. I'm enjoying Edinburgh, i'm really comfortable in this flat, my room is almost exactly the way i want it to be, work is definitely acceptable and i seem to be financially comfortable. My love life is somewhat non-existent but then you can't have everything and after over a year and a half without anything that could even be classed as decent sex (let alone good) i don't really expect a sudden improvement (although it would be nice :P )

Basically, i'm a happy little poodle.
