Zeke/Casey? Nope, didn't see it.
Finally saw "The Faculty" yesterday at my sister's (good start to the Halloween film festival, no?). A nice dumb little film about body snatchers, and Jon Stewart and Elijah Wood and Bebe Neuwirth.
Didn't see any of that UST that gets slash going with me. Is Zeke/Casey the result of Elijah Wood and Josh Hartnett's chemistry off-camera? 'Cause they didn't have any kind of contact in the film.
Also, Elwood was, like, way too pretty to play the Outcast Geek in that high school film. (Then again, it's a Hollywood studio film, where everybody is too pretty to play the geeks.)
Best moment? Jon Stewart with the eye patch and mittened hand at the end credits. 1) Yay! He survived the alien posession and getting a pen in the eye! 2) Looked very piratical with that neat little beard.
Right. On to BEETLEJUICE and MAD MONSTER PARTY (a far superior film to NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS).
