This is possibly the funniest thing I've ever read! EVER! I'm still laughing LOL
Please, PLEASE, give me the permission to translate this! It's everything Watson's day is not: Wonderful, spendid, No Bad, Very Good ad so on x'D

"He's going to hang; I'm going to Switzerland."--> LOL *still trying to stop laughing* *still unable to stop laughing*

And I don't even know if what I wrote makes sense, someway, written English is not my best skill x'D

Grazie! Yes, you have my permission to translate.

I love the kid's book "Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day," and all I did was mimic the style.

Sorry if I butt in, I discovered this thanks to minnow90's translation, and wanted to tell you that this is hilarious!

I don't know the original book unfortunately (is the part with Watson writing on the chalkboard a tribute to a scene in it?) but I like the way you wrote this!

Thank you!

The original book is "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst. It's a grumpy 10-year-old boy talking about his awful day in precisely that run-on way of talking. At one point the boy does have to write something on the chalkboard at school for talking.

This is such an beautiful adaptation. It makes me want to both laugh what's written, and cry for what is between the lines.

Thanks. Alas, looks like poor Watson won't have to worry about that Wagner giving him stomach-aches much longer...

Oh, lovely! And now you've done it, so I don't have to. (My copy of Alexander isn't on the shelf anyway. It's on a reading list this summer, so it keeps vanishing.) I love it that you have managed to catch both Alexander's petulance and Watson's details.

:D
