updates and apologies (but not in that order)
I know, I know, I promised you more updates and I seem to have failed to deliver.
It'll get better after election day, I swear!
Life lately has consisted basically of YD-related campaign volunteering and drama, and work, and occasional school.
I definitely got around to finally making drapes for our living room this weekend out of two three dollar bedsheets from walmart. It's amazing how much more like home this makes the apartment feel, and I really wish I'd gotten on this sooner. The drapes and the tie-dye tapestry on the wall really eliminate the previously pervasive feeling of institutional-ness. I am immensely proud of my six-dollar ghetto curtains like you have no idea.
My love life is still nonexistent but I'll worry about that after the democrats take back congress.
Halloween is going to be the shit; we're going as sketchy white trash rednecks (we were originally going to be Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie but didn't want outfits that skimpy after remembering how cold last year was.) We weren't going to have a party originally but when we realized how many people were coming from UNCW, we had to make peace with the fact that there was going to be a party at our place whether we willed it or not, so we just made a facebook invite and invited a whole bunch of people. Nobody from YD comes, ever, and I don't blame them if it's because they're so sick of being around us all the freaking time for campaign events - it's definitely some YD burnout time.
