Pearl Jam!!!!
On monday night, Colleen and I ventured on my pilgrimage to The Palace of Auburn Hills to see the one, the only...PEARL JAM. After dropping 15 on parking and 84 on 3 tee shirts, Colleen and I settled in our seats which kicked some ass, there was the main floor, then 1 foot above that was the start of the bleechers, we were the first row. So we had no one in front of us, and were about 50 feet away from the band. The night started with Eddie coming out and playing Gone with just him and a guitar, then he introduced the opener, My Morning Jacket. For the half hour they were on stage, they stunk it up badly. Luckily, Pearl jam came on then. They fucking rocked, they did almost all the songs I hoped they played, including two they rarely do at concerts: In Hiding and Garden (where I got my email/LJ name). They took two encore breaks, and it was just under a 4 hour concert with just them playing, just under 5 together with the opener. It so fucking ruled. I cried at one point I was so happy, I was all "dude, i'm looking at Pearl Jam, LOOKING AT THEM". It was all so surreal. Anyways, I dont want to ramble cause I could go on for hours. Peace.
