Margaux's a Runner
We got the treadmill from D'Wanna & Dennis. D'Wanna demonstrated it for us. It's light and easy to move around. It's short. I already fell off of it once. lol Margaux LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES it! She walked for probably 20 minutes on it, then started jogging. She's amazing! She TOLD me she did this. After a while, I went back out for another few minutes on it. When I started dripping (this is so much harder than Disco Sweat), I jumped off and Margaux said, "Hey Mom, watch this!" She gets on, starts it and puts it up to the running speed and starts running! It was awesome! I was cheering for her and she was laughing. She was so great at it and it seemed really effortless for her. She says she wants to get up to endurance speed. That's reeeeeally fast, but I'm sure she'll do it in time. I'm so proud of her.
Dennis & D'Wanna kinda sorta invited us to go to see fireworks with them tomorrow night. And since we always screw up our plans to see fireworks, we accepted. Margaux and Avery are very excited about it. It should be a nice time.
Margaux is watching The Wizard of Oz.
Tomorrow morning, we are going to foil over our dining room and kitchen windows. It's 85 degrees in here with the air conditioner running all day long. We've got to get the place cool before August when it gets really hot. It was 108 degrees on our back porch this afternoon. Now, at 10:30 p.m. it is 89 degrees. Oy.
We watched Architecture of the Human Body this afternoon on the Discovery Channel. It was really fascinating and Margaux watched every bit of it and had lots of questions. She's so interesting.
