Echocardiogram Appointment

Jun 23, 2005 16:12

My appointment is at the Chapel Hill Office of ... um whatever... and it's at 8:30. Guh... The receptionist is sending me information on what I have to do to prepare. I just hope the table will hold me. This is just a stress echocardiogram, it's not an exercise ECG, which is really cool... at least for now. Oh, yeah, and it's on the 30th. Thursday, June 30th at 8:30 in Chapel Hill (Dallas). Then I have to schedule another appointment with Dr. Culver so we can go over the report. I'll call her office tomorrow morning to see if they'll call me when they get it, or if we should just schedule now.

I'm taking my paperwork to the seminar tonight, but I don't know if I'll turn it in or mail it in. I don't want to rush. I want to make sure I know as much as I can and I want to talk with Dr. Culver about other surgeons. Someone gave me advice on Dr. Barzune who is not only supposed to be an outstanding Bariatric surgeon, but also one of the top five all-around surgeons in Dallas. I have heard a few comments about Dr. McCarty, too, that his patients don't see him after surgery. That he's too busy. I will be meeting some of them on Saturday night and I'll ask more specific questions about post-op care.
