grow lights - expiration dates?
today i read an internet article saying that grow light bulbs/florescent light bulbs should be replaced every *TWO* years.
i currently have a wonderful and reliable grow light setup in a back bedroom with three simple 4' florescent fixtures and wire/linen shelving.
i have had the same bulbs in my three fixtures (each fixture contains one regular florescent bulb, and one grow light florescent bulb) for 5 or more years now.
my seedlings dont seem to be suffering at all, or delayed at all.
any one have any experience suggesting grow light setups need frequent bulb replacement?
