Hey all, just a quick question I was hoping someone could help with. I have some zucchini seedlings that I started in seed trays that I've been a bit recalcitrant on transplanting. They are strong little seedlings, about4-5 inches tall, but some of them are...not straight. Their stems are solid and strong, but they are bent over. I was wondering if I could correct this by planting them a little deeper then the current soil level in the trays when I transplant them, kind of like you do with tomatoes? Two of the seedlings in particular come out of the soil, turn 90 degrees and grow horizontal for an inch or so before growing up. They are bush style zucchini, so Id like to fix this if I can.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help.
