native plants!
I finally made my way to Yerba Buena Nursey today to pick up some native plants.
Monkeyflower
California Fuchsia mine doesnt have flowers yet obviously
western columbine also no flowers yet
Blue Bedder Penstemon
and now soon to be the crowning jewel in my garden

I've been eying this plant for almost a year and was bummed it wasn't on their availability list but I found this one lurking in the back of their hardening shed. I was so happy that I practically had it in my lap for the drive home.
Anyway, I really recommend this place if you're in the bay area, it was worth the drive. Everyone was friendly (including the cats and dog), and it was easy to find everything, they have pictures of everything in bloom so that you can tell what it is, which I thought was really great.
