We have no deer, we're in the middle of the city.
The one ugly pansy is left alone, and the holes look like they were just lifted out.

Sorry, your city has deer. Don't believe you have no deer because you are in a city. There are vids on youtube of herds of deer walking through towns at night.

I've seen foxes, opossums, raccoons, all wandering around a city of 1 million people because I'm a night person. I've been told there's deer, I've seen their hoofprints, but I just haven't seen one yet.
