Greetings gardeners,
I live in upstate New York; I can't remember offhand what zone that is. This is my first spring in my first house and the lady who lived here before us was an avid gardener - there's all manner of beautiful plants coming into full bloom in my backyard. I'm just learning what everything is and how to care for it.
My problem is this: There is a woodchuck/groundhog/large aggravating rodent tearing up my yard and my plants. I've seen the pest on several occasions, but he always makes a break for it before I can get close. How do I get rid of the sucker? I don't care about being humane, I just want the thing gone. It's already destroyed two of my tulips; I would like it to disappear before any more of my flowers do.
