anybody else in the south seeing stuff early

im in central alabama and we are haveing way to much warm days this month.i have tigar lilys up 2 inchs in the yard.they dont do that until march normaly.this warm weather is gonna make everything come out way to early (then the middle of march it will snow 6 inchs).i looked at the forcast for feb and its in the 50/60s for the next month.if i knew ( ... )

The zones have changed, which one article I read is blaming on climate change. If you check you may now be in a different zone. I'm still going to go by the predicted last frost date for this area, as it's better to get them in a little late than have them killed, but I'm starting most of mine inside so it should be fine. It is freakishly warm here, which on the one hand is great, as I've been able to get things done in the garden that I had to put off due to a new sewer line going in, but ultimately bad.

I'm in North Carolina & all the daffodils are coming up when they usually wouldn't be here for at least another 6 weeks.

In middle TN here. My daffodils are already putting out buds, though they are buried too shallow which I'm sure has something to do with that. But my properly buried tulips are also peeking up around my mail box. I keep telling them it's a bad time to come out, but they're not really listening to me. Silly flowers.

North Carolina, and yes. The daffodils are blooming, and many of my plants never even bothered to go dormant.

It may yet be a false spring, but if it keeps up through Feburary, I'm gonna be planting stuff in sheer self-defense.
