Dried flowers

Jul 16, 2011 11:58

My lilies from last year just bloomed this morning(yay).
They're all white so far, except for one that was in the back. It's white, pink, and spotted. Beautiful. Because it was in the back, the stem was stretched out so it could get light, which meant that it was laying on the grass. Well, I plucked it and I want to keep it.

What's the best way to dry them?
I've tried hanging them, but because they're delicate, it failed (first attempt)
I tried covering them in Borax, fail - the internet said it could work. It only made the petals fall off (second attempt)
Now, I am on my third attempt and asking for opinions.
I just looked up how to press them (but I feel unsure of how to press it without making a scrunched up mess.
