I have a mystery lily in my yard. Last year I had put a stargazer lily in a large pot. To my surprise it sprung back up this year and you would think I took great care of it but I did nothing; it's basically a weed I didn't pull. It is a good 6 feet plus tall and last count I believe there were about 24 flowers ready to bloom. But here is where it gets more bizarre - the lilies have bloomed and they're solid white. I'd assume it was an Easter lily on steroids but I've been in my house for almost 7 years and have never had an Easter lily planted in my yard and it's in a pot I bought so no way a previous owner did it.
Is there such a thing as albino flowers? If it wasn't a bulb flower I'd chalk it up to a bird dropping seeds but this is weird. It is on a patio that I have never planted other flowers on. The pot prior to stargazers contained cherry tomatoes and oregano.
