Brand new gardener with a zucchini plant question...
Hi, all! I've had this community on my friends list for years, but I've never had a garden until now. I just have a quick question about my "Midnight Lightning" zucchini plant. Is this variety supposed to have a trellis? If so, is it too late to put one up for it? Sorry if this is a dumb n00b question; I was under the impression that this was supposed to be a small bush variety that is actually suitable for container gardening, but... uhhh... here's a photo of it:
To give you an idea as to how big that plant is, it's in a 2' x 2' garden bed.
