Can anyone help me with this plant?

 A friend of mine, who's incredibly bad with houseplants, dropped this particular one off at my house, to be saved. 
Now, it's looks so familiar, but yet I can't think of WHAT KIND IT IS!? Can anyone jog my memory on this?
