Fritillaria Imperialis . . .

In order to adhere to the rules of the community garden, I have been in search of organic/natural means of deterring little critters. A friend told me about the Crown Imperial Lily and its rodent repelling qualities. After a long search I found bulbs for a reasonable price.

Has anyone planted this lily? Was it really stinky? The bulbs smell like garlic.
