Yesterday I purchased a strip of okra seedlings at the 1-leaf stage. On each seedling the cotyledons are dark green but the true leaf is yellow with pale edges. All the strips in the shop looked the same and I hadn't been able to find okra seeds, hence this last-minute attempt to grow the plants from purchased seedlings.
But this is my first year of growing this crop. Do they always have yellow leaves? If not, I'm thinking of pricking them out into pots with multipurpose potting compost, but it seems weird that they'd have a nutritional deficiency at this very early stage. Opinions welcome!
