New blooms
Anybody sick of seeing irises blooming? Sure hope not! :D
Left to right are Final Decision, Pride of Ireland, Pledge of Allegiance, and Charleston.
This Charleston didn't turn out quite like I'd hoped. The image on the website where I ordered it showed it much more blue than purple. Still, I'm happy with it.
Final Decision
Pride of Ireland. That purple-ish stripe should not be there. I'm assuming a bug of some sort crawled through the Pledge of Allegiance first, then crawled into this one while it was still a bud. I like the slight touch of green in the yellow of the buds on this one.
Gay Parasol
My John F. Kennedy rose is proving that the late transplant isn't going to slow it down much. This is one of my favorite roses. I just love that creamy white. It's got a slight licorice scent.
That's all for now. I'm still waiting on one more iris - Live Music - to bloom. From the look of the buds, it's going to be a few days still.
