Moving lilies!

Heyas!
I have a couple of questions about moving plants.
My Mom and Dad just bought a mini home and will be moving from the house they have been renting for almost 20 years. I'm so excited for them!
They are by no means garndeners, we just have what is native to our area. Planted years ago and watered. They also have a bleeding heart and some other wild flowers they intend to move.
Here come the questions:
Will moving day lilies this late on the year harm them?
Should they be re-planted right away or should they be stored?
If it is better to have wait and replant them next year how should they be stored?
Anything we should know before moving the bleeding heart?
I don't know what zone i'm in. The location is in Beaver Harbour/Black's Harbour, New Brunswick Canada. It's gotten cold here the past week or so and signs of fall are here.
They won't have the land ready or the mini home moved for about two weeks, and don't want to plant anything untill it is.
Any suggestions/help would be wonderfull!
Thanks so much :)

how-to, flower: lily, flower: bleeding-heart
